Unearth
Unearth is a short incremental game about curiosity. Every block of rock hides an object. Chip the rock away by hand, spend what falls out on better tools, and keep digging until the thing inside stands free.
- Dig in 3D: hold the mouse on the rock and turn the block to reach every side.
- Five upgrades that change how you dig: power, speed, bigger bites, drones and coin value.
- Drones that fly to the rock and peel it from the outside while you dig for what pays.
- Nine finds to collect. Each one is a power with a cooldown: a wave that peels the surface, a rocket strike, a slash through the block, a beam fired by all your drones at once.
- Every block is bigger than the last, and when enough is gone the rest comes down.
This is an early prototype. Tell me what you dug up and what you would change.
Controls
- Hold the left mouse button on the rock: dig
- Drag empty space, or press A / D: turn the block
- Scroll, or press W / S: zoom
- Keys 1 to 9, or a click on a find: use its power
- On a phone or tablet, held sideways: hold a finger on the rock to dig, drag to turn, pinch to zoom, tap a find to use its power
The game collects anonymous gameplay statistics (which powers are used, how long each block takes) to make it better. Nothing identifies you.
